Frequent asked questions about the Chamber
WHAT IS THE CHAMBER?
The Zimmerman Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer organization serving the Zimmerman area business community. Our Chamber is a private, not-for-profit organization. It unites businesses and professional firms, thus creating a "unified voice" working to improve the business climate and build a better community. Over 95% of our membership is made up of small businesses interested in prospering and creating a healthy, positive environment in which to conduct business.
Most importantly our Chamber of Commerce is PEOPLE, people who realize that through our Chamber they can accomplish collectively what none of them can do individually. The strength of our Chamber lies in attracting the greatest number of members, thus creating a pool of resources from which ideas, energy and finances can be drawn.
Our Chamber functions through its members who elect a Board of Directors. The positions are all volunteer.
